I don’t know you, but september is here and I am starting to slightly panic
because it is time to update the wardrobe and there is one B I G issue.
I have too much clothes!!
Ok. First thing first. I should not be thinking about what I need, but what
I don’t need. Obviously, being a cool fashion girl is all about getting the latest trendy jacket, the seasonal dress and the must-have shoes. But why being so obsessed with wanting to get all these things when you know that you are never going to wear them again after this season, and store them at the back of your closet?! To be honest, it is the first time I realize this fact (also after ‘tidying up’ my closet). Let’s think practical and long-term, from now on. That is probably the best way to succeed the transition to fall in terms of style. To illustrate my statement, those are what I consider as essentials for my fall 2015 closet. Sweater for comfort, ankle boots are classics, CC foundation because… we all need one, and of course, big coat for warm body. Now. Do we really need more?
acne studios sweater. £200
h&m coat. £39.99
lancôme cc foundation. £27
jeffrey campbell boots. £125.71
i recently posted a photo of my delish protein pancakes on twitter and have been asked for the recipe.
there’s a little story behind my pancakes: first, i avoid eating gluten as much as possible, so i wanted to make pancakes without wheat flour but that taste the same as if there was. second thing is, i researched protein pancakes recipes and each of them had unknown ingredients or ingredients i don’t necessarily have at home, etc. so i decided to create my own recipe, with what i always have in my kitchen.
– 2 tablespoons protein powder (soy, whey, anything)
– 1 (big) tablespoon cocoa powder (unless your protein powder is already flavoured with chocolate)
– 2 tablespoons buckwheat flour
– 2 eggs (slightly blended with a fork)
– 1 mashed banana
– 1/2 glass of milk or more if needed
basically… mix up all the ingredients, using a blender or put everything in a bowl and blend as you like. then pour the preparation on a pancake pan (preferably), use a big spoon in order to get a nice and thick pancake.
enjoy your pancakes with some organic maple syrup and slices of banana or other fruits such as berries.
perfect breakfast to fill you up for the whole morning and get ready to hit the gym! it’s even good just for your daily protein intake.

a lot of you have asked me to do a post about my skin care routine for a while now.
so here you go
my absolute favourite cosmetics i use for my skin is Nuxe. their products have less chemicals than other cosmetic brands and use natural ingredients. my skin is quite sensitive so i usually opt for organic skin products. obviously, it is summer, so we all want to have a natural glow and a tan face, so here is my secret: the Prodigious Cream by Nuxe. i have used it for years now, it is a sort of CC cream but that leaves that bare skin effect on your face as if you’ve just got tanned on the beach – and i can tell, i don’t only use it for summer. there is also the BB powder from L’Oréal that i use pretty often on my dark circles, and it does not have that powdery effect, which is perfect for summer. because you don’t want to look like you are wearing powder when it is warm and you’re sweating all day, right?
